Treating Customers Fairly – or TCF – is a core mantra of the Financial Services Authority, the watchdog that oversees all UK financial services. That means transparent business practices, it means offering as much choice as possible and it means telling the truth. And why do they do this? Because they know that by adhering to TCF, they are getting a customer for life. One that will come back to them next time they need a loan, or a remortgage, or some life insurance or some income protection. By Treating Customers Fairly, you become someone they can trust, and when it comes to finances, that’s all that really matters in the end.
